Chris Thompkins

Chris Thompkins is a multi-disciplinary creative working across music, visual art, and sound. Born in Pittsburgh, now based in California, he has spent years building a body of work that refuses easy categorisation — moving between the intimate and the architectural, the soulful and the precise.

His second album, Journey, is afro deep house — jazzy, vocal, and built for the spaces where music actually lives: café afternoons, late evenings, the warm middle hour of a good night out. The music carries the weight of love without losing its breath. Sensuality with room in every lyric.

Night Owl is his first release — the opening single from Journey, his afro deep house album still unfolding. A second album, Unshackled, exploring neo-soul and quiet storm R&B, is also in development. Both projects are distributed independently through UnitedMasters — the music on his terms, the infrastructure owned.
